I am a Louisianan public historian with research interests in historic preservation, conservation, and historic cemeteries. I am curator for Vermilionville Living History Museum in Lafayette, La., where I have the privilege to preserve, protect, interpret, and record our artifacts.

I graduated with my M.A. from the Public History program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and my B.A. from the history department at the Louisiana State University. I honed my archival skills by entering acquisition data with Capitol Hill Museum in 2012 and digitizing a private 18th-19th century archive in 2014. I received first hand experience with historic preservation management by interning with the San Antonio Historic Preservation Office.
